Super Vibrant Turquoise Blue to Sea-Foam Bluish Green Afghan Tourmaline lot of fully terminated crystals!!! Every one of these crystals is terminated at least at one end; however, there are a few that are terminated at both ends with many having traces of matrix on their bases. This lot contains some of the most sought after colors in Afghan Tourmaline! The parcel overall is composed of elongated crystals that are very slightly to slightly included with most major inclusions confined to the periphery or ends. There is a nice amount of facetable material in here; however, I don't know if that is what you would want to do with this lot. We would conservatively estimate that roughly 50%+ of this material is Top Facet Grade with quite a few stones in here having nice eye-clean sections capable of faceting Eye-Clean or better finished gems. This is one of our best deals and likely to go quick so don't pass this by!

1. Afghan Tourmaline pockets tend to be relatively small in size and as a result consistency in color & quality is a rarity! We have never seen Afghan Tourmaline sold by the kilo with like colored and quality material and lots are generally small in size seldom going over 1/2-1 kilo.

2. All Afghan Tourmaline is exhumed from primary deposits and as a result mining costs are considerably higher due to dynamite expenditures and traveling expenditures to get to remote mining areas. It is also interesting to note that since all Afghan Tourmaline is from primary deposits most rough will usually have sharp crystal faces.
