This is the material that has made Afghan Tourmaline the benchmark in Tourmaline perfection! This color and quality is unrivaled the world over! It doesn't get much better than this as Nodules are the best Afghanistan has to offer in shape and these are all lovely Nodules with some amazing colors. This material runs from an nice neon turquoise & neon bluish green to a pastel blue and pale pinkish and bluish white. Every one of these is  an ideally shaped nodule and you will undoubtedly get high weight returns in most cut stones! This is about all the nodules I have and I have just dropped them into this lot to give someone a nice treat. The colors on some of these could be a bit better for saturation; however, there is NOWHERE you can get this price on Afghan Tourmaline Nodules!

This is TOP TOP faceting grade material with every stone capable of producing an eye-clean or better gem. We believe every stone in here should cut 10x clean with a little work but say eye-clean to be on the safe side. This lot is PREMIUM ROUGH! This stuff has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

1. Afghan Tourmaline pockets tend to be relatively small in size and as a result consistency in color & quality is a rarity! We have never seen Afghan Tourmaline sold by the kilo with like colored and quality material and lots are generally small in size seldom going over 1/2-1 kilo.

2. All Afghan Tourmaline is exhumed from primary deposits and as a result mining costs are considerably higher due to dynamite expenditures and traveling expenditures to get to remote mining areas. It is also interesting to note that since all Afghan Tourmaline is from primary deposits most rough will usually have sharp crystal faces.
