DESCRIPTION:

Super lot of vivid Lilac and Peacock Purple to Deep Bluish Teal colored lot of alluvial Spinel from Tanzania. These are the most awesome vibrant colors and most stones in this lot look eye-clean or better; however, roughly 20% of these are very slightly to heavily included. I think about 3-4 stones in here are really cabbing rough but the rest are a site to behold. These are not the largest stones; however, they are a nice group of fairly chunky pieces and will undoubtedly cut some of the most breathtaking finished stones. This lot was sent to us as a sample for reviewing and we are just moving it out the door to the lucky one who picks it up. The lot is priced to sell so don't miss out.

COOL FACTS:
  1. Tanzania has long been known as a source for the most beautiful Peacock Purple and Cornflower Blue Spinels. This material is alluvial in nature and as a result most of this material tends to be very high facet grade. Over the last few years 1+ gram stones have become increasingly scarce and smaller stones are beginning to go up in price considerably. We are working toward establishing a mine direct source for this material in both large and small sizes and hope to be getting some in the near future.
