DESCRIPTION:

This is a NEW FIND of Scapolite coming from Badakshan, Afghanistan. Most of these stones are a bit small; however, there are quite a few chunky pieces in here as well that would be great for faceting. Most of this material is for commercial cutting and the lot is running roughly 90%+ Top Facet Grade. Almost every stone in this lot is a perfect crystal and this lot would be great for collectors as well. These are a very soft purple/lavender color. We got this lot at a steal and are passing the savings on to you!
COOL FACTS:

  1. This is the third lot of Scapolite I have seen coming from Afghanistan. We are hearing of dozens of new finds in Badakshan of several different gem species and are anxiously awaiting to see first hand what is coming from the region.
