Lot of Pastel Pink and Peachy Pink Morganite from Afghanistan. This is a great lot for cabbing and a few of the larger stones are great for carving. The material is not overly fractured; however, many stones do show a fine sheen and/or minute crystal inclusions. Most of these inclusions will not impact the stability of the material. Many of these stones are nice chunky crystal sections with some stones showing terminated edges. This is being sold as cabbing and/or carving material and is priced as such.

1. In Afghanistan Morganite is almost always classified by crystal structure and not so much by color. This is why you will occasionally see some light Aqua colored stones in Afghan Morganite lots.

2. There is only a limited amount of Afghan Morganite produced every year and annual production has been steadily decreasing.
