Awesome lot of Afghan Lapis that will cut some spectacular cabs!! Most of this lot is AAB-AB+ grade material with the larger portion being a royal blue to an almost purplish blue! There are only a handful of pieces that contain some Calcite (Maybe 5-10% at most) but it is almost always concentrated on the exterior and shouldn't show up in most finished Cabs. This material is fairly uniform with most pieces lacking the excessive white and pyrite inclusions common in the market. These pieces are not overly large and will make mostly commercial sized cabs. If you look around and compare prices you will see this is a bargain not to be missed! This is what was left of our rough by the kilo for our last shipment and we are just putting it up here to finish the material up as we are expecting another shipment of 20 or so Kilos in a few weeks.
