Awesome lot of Afghan Lapis that will cut some spectacular cabs!! Most of this lot is AA-AAA grade material with the larger portion being a royal blue to an almost purplish blue! Smaller stones tend to be a purer uniform blue and purplish blue while larger stones show progressively more calcite. Most of the better material is between 1 to 3 grams. This material is fairly uniform with most pieces lacking the excessive white and pyrite inclusions common in the market. These pieces are not overly large and will make mostly commercial sized cabs with a few large pieces that can be used for carving should you desire that. If you look around and compare prices you will see this is a bargain not to be missed! We have just let this lot out as a sample to see how the market is for it and will add more upon demand.
