Super lot of vivid pale pink to bright lavender and aqua blue Afghani Kunzite. Most of these pieces are slightly to heavily included; however, many stones have nice gemmy areas that can be sawed out to produce some marvelous finished gems. Overall we are conservatively estimating that roughly 20% or so of this material is some type of facet grade. This may defer a bit from kilo to kilo as our estimates are of the entire lot we currently have (6 or so kilos).

This material has gone up considerably in price and we are confident no one will beat our price on this material in this quality! Please note that you will need to saw many of these to get the best material out as cobbing is impossible with Kunzite. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT KUNZITE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! If you have not dealt with Kunzite before I would not recommend purchasing this material on whim. The color on these stones is unusually bright and fairly dark for your average Kunzite (This holds especially true for the large stones while the smaller stones are paler). We are confident there are some lovely LARGE eye-clean to slightly included gems just waiting to come out of this! Don't miss your opportunity to pick this up as we will not stock much of this material because of current market prices. There is a 1 Kilo MINIMUM purchase and you are more likely to get the 20% mixed facet grade with a larger purchase.

1. Afghan Kunzite is in EXTREMELY high demand and the price of this material is jumping exponentially. What I paid for 27 Kilos a few years ago is less than what ONE kilo of similar material costs today. The greatest demand for this material lies in low grade cabbing or tumbling rough and it is running at about $50-$100.00 per kilo in PAKISTAN.
