Magnificent bright pinkish red to orangey red Malaya Garnet. Unlike most of the newer Malaya Garnet being produced this material is not excessively dark or brown. I have been informed this is a hybrid composed of Spessartite and other Garnet species. There may be a couple of Rhodolite and Almandine Garnets in this parcel but that is pure speculation. It would be too cost prohibitive to test and evaluate each stone. This material is running roughly 90+ parcel clean and we only have a limited supply of this material on hand. |
