New Find of Deep Crimson Red to Dark Blood Red Afghan Garnet Faceting rough! This is a great lot to pick up for cutters as it is relatively small in size with most stones in here being high facet grade. The bulk of this material looks to be a deep crimson red and stones should ideally be cut under 3 carats. The material is roughly 90%+ facet grade with many stones having a very fine sheen that may mask up well. We thought we had sold off all of this material we had; however, we unearthed this lot while looking through some our inventory. We don't have any more of this material left as this lot was sent to us as a sample of production from Afghanistan and we are just closing it out. We do not intend on getting any more of this material in the future so don't miss out on picking this up!

1. There has been a very limited amount of Garnet that has been produced in Afghanistan and it is rarely facet grade. This is one of the few lots of this material that I have seen enter the market and there really only seems to be very limited production.

2. This has not yet been tested and as a result we can't certify the type of Garnet it is.
