Well terminated Afghan Uvite Tourmaline Crystal. This looks to be a twin and is unusually sharp and lustrous for Tourmaline Crystals from Badakshan. There is little or no contact with the exception of the base. The crystal looks like it was removed from a crystal cluster and you still see the intergrowth pattern on the bottom. The crystal does fluoresce a chalky yellow under UV light. This is the only one we have and one of the better pieces we have seen come from the locality.
