Practically flawless stone with some minor surface blemishes. We are fairly confident this is Spessartite due to the striations on the back and considering it was purchased in a Spessartite parcel but it is sold untested. This was the only clean stone of any size out of about 1 kilo of material. The find was limited to the one pocket about 2 years ago and we don't anticipate on seeing any more. The stone truly is much better in person than the above pictures indicate!
