Large Tangerine Spessartite from Afghanistan. This stone is unfortunately slightly included; however, it is large and gemmy for the locality. There are two options on this stone. You can opt to cut the cleanest stones possible and divide the rough into 2-3 faceted gems that are eye-clean to slightly included or you can opt to cut a very slightly to moderately included single stone. You will have to spend a little time on planning for this to get the best yield and clarity but it should yield a spectacular stone or two.
