New Find of an Incredible Yellowish Green Diopside from Badakshan, Afghanistan. There is a VERY limited find of this coming from Afghanistan from time to time and we had the find published in a 2006 issue of GIA's Gems & Gemology. We only have 3 pieces of Facet Rough we can offer at this time and this is one of them! The stone does have some very minor inclusions on the periphery but it looks as though it should cut eye-clean or better with little effort. This is well shaped for an Oval or a Tear Drop!
