This is some of the most INSANE colored Afghan Tourmaline that runs from an awesome Neon Bluish Green to a Neon Green. The lot is running roughly 90%+ TOP Facet Grade. Every one of these is a SUPER lovely color and an ideally shaped crystal section or nodule. The color on this material is mostly top; however, a few stones have minor inclusions that will need to be worked out to produce the cleanest stones possible. The bulk of this lot should cut eye-clean or better with a little hard work and this is probably the cheapest price anyone has ever done on this caliber material. This lot was offered at a STEAL and that is why you are getting it at this price! It just doesn't get ANY better than this folks!

1. Afghan Tourmaline pockets tend to be relatively small in size and as a result consistency in color & quality is a rarity! We have never seen Afghan Tourmaline sold by the kilo with like colored and quality material and lots are generally small in size seldom going over 1/2-1 kilo.

2. All Afghan Tourmaline is exhumed from primary deposits and as a result mining costs are considerably higher due to dynamite expenditures and traveling expenditures to get to remote mining areas. It is also interesting to note that since all Afghan Tourmaline is from primary deposits most rough will usually have sharp crystal faces.
