WOWWWWW! This is some of the most INSANE colored Afghan Tourmaline we have EVER seen coming from this REGION. This is the material that has made Afghan Tourmaline the benchmark in Tourmaline perfection! Every one of these is a SUPER lovely color and an ideally shaped crystal section or nodular. Some of this is the material that runs $300+ per carat once cut and is practically impossible to get your hands on in the rough. The color on this material is mostly top; however, a few stones have minor inclusions that will need to be worked out to produce the cleanest stones possible. The colors in this lot range from the most spectacular Neon Green color and Electric Paraiba Blue to Turquoise Bicolors to Electric Turquoise and Pastel Pink/Lime Green Bicolors!!! It just doesn't get ANY better than this folks!

There are several pieces in here that would sell for roughly $100.00 Per Gram IN PAKISTAN! A few stones in here are just drop dead gorgeous and would easily fetch $100.00 Per Gram IN Pakistan at the very slightly included level! We are selling this material by the gram so as to give everyone a chance to taste the best. The lot as a whole weighs about 35 grams so there isn't much here and there is a 5 gram minimum making it affordable for almost everyone! Please note that we will mix each parcel up to make each lot represent the above description fairly and to insure the best colors are not sold to just one party. In addition, please note that it isn't easy to get this material to fit exactly into a particular gram weight and therefore you may have to purchase a gram or more above your request.

We don't normally get material this caliber that we can offer as we have a few clients that purchase most of it from us in bulk and we usually just stock the remainder until a party comes along to purchase it all as a lot. If these stones were all eye-clean we wouldn't be selling these for less than $40.00 per carat so this is a BARGAIN not to be missed. Most stones should cut eye-clean or better with a little hard work.  I'm confident that 85% of this lot should yield eye-clean or better finished gems; however, you will have to cob and orient the rough appropriately for optimal results. The remaining 15% will need to be worked on a bit more but has the potential to yield additional eye-clean to very slightly included stones with a little work.

This lot is not for the amateur and this is PREMIUM ROUGH! If you are interested in similar colored material in smaller sizes there are several lots up which were initially one large lot and broken up into more uniform size to fit client needs better. Please note that the pictures really don't do the material justice. This stuff has to be seen to be fully appreciated. This is probably one of the best lots that we have up for Tourmaline and we could easily sell this locally for a profit. 1. Afghan Tourmaline pockets tend to be relatively small in size and as a result consistency in color & quality is a rarity! We have never seen Afghan Tourmaline sold by the kilo with like colored and quality material and lots are generally small in size seldom going over 1/2-1 kilo.

2. All Afghan Tourmaline is exhumed from primary deposits and as a result mining costs are considerably higher due to dynamite expenditures and traveling expenditures to get to remote mining areas. It is also interesting to note that since all Afghan Tourmaline is from primary deposits most rough will usually have sharp crystal faces.
