DESCRIPTION:

Super lot of TOP TOP Minty Turquoise Blue to Stewart Pink Afghan Tourmaline faceting rough. This is a SUPER parcel of the most Insane colored Vivid Bubble-Gum Pink Tourmaline. Most stones are nice and vibrant and overall the lot is roughly 95%+ Top Top Facet Grade material. Almost every stone in this lot should produce eye-clean or better with a little work. This is the material that you see retailing for $10.00+ per carat! This is TOP faceting grade material and there are quite a few killer pieces in here. Practically every stone in the lot is a nice and chunky crystal section capable of giving above average yield. This is one of our best deals and likely to go quick so don't pass this by! At $2.50 per carat there really is no way you can lose on this!

Please note that this does NOT have the brown overtones associated with much of the Pink Tourmaline from Africa. If you have seen Stewart Mine material this is a spitting image of it and a steal at our price!

COOL FACTS:
  1. Afghan Tourmaline pockets tend to be relatively small in size and as a result consistency in color & quality is a rarity! We have never seen Afghan Tourmaline sold by the kilo with like colored and quality material and lots are generally small in size seldom going over 1/2-1 kilo.

  2. All Afghan Tourmaline is exhumed from primary deposits and as a result mining costs are considerably higher due to dynamite expenditures and traveling expenditures to get to remote mining areas. It is also interesting to note that since all Afghan Tourmaline is from primary deposits most rough will usually have sharp crystal faces.
