DESCRIPTION: |
Insane lot of Imperial Topaz from Katlang, Pakistan running from a Pastel Peachy Pink to a Pastel Pink in color. YES FOLKS! This material is from the legendary mines at Katlang and we were EXTREMELY fortunate to acquire it at a reasonable price. This material is VERY difficult to get a hold of and is NOT to be confused with material from Gilgit. Gilgit is your normal run of the mill Topaz while this material has traditionally been classified as Imperial Topaz. This lot overall is composed of very glassy crystal sections and the lot looks to be roughly 60% or so facet grade. Roughly 35% of the lot is top quality while the remainder will need to be cobbed and worked on to get the optimal amount of facet rough that the lot has to offer. This is actual Katlang material and not Gilgit material and is 100% NATURAL FOLKS! Katlang is fabled for the legendary Bubble-Gum Pink Topazes it produced years ago. The dark pinks are an ULTRA rare find these days and even this material is difficult to get at a decent price. Most of this material is uniform in size and is ideal for faceting. This is another lot that is priced to move. We got this lot at a discount and are passing it along to you at a great saving. |
