Awesome lot of NATURAL Pale to an almost Medium Pink and Peachy Pink Morganite from Afghanistan.  I would say most of this material is a cross that lies somewhere between pale and medium Peachy Pink. There are a few pieces in here that look more like they are Goshenite; however, the lot as a whole is distinctly Peachy Pink. Please note that the above pictures in no way do the material justice as their color was bleached out because of the our light source for the pictures. This lot is a little light in color but that is more than made up for with the clarity and size of the rough. We would conservatively say that 95%+ of this material is high grade facet rough.

The bulk of this material should support eye-clean or better stones with a little effort. These are not small pieces and the average weight here is almost 17+ carats!! We don't have too much of this high grade material come by us so don't let someone beat you to this lot! Afghan Morganite is a rare find these days and it is almost always very pale. Take a look around the net and you will see how unbelievable our price on this material really is! Don't let the etched exterior fool you as the bulk of this is TOP facet rough and we are confident that you will get some killer stones out of this lot with little effort.

1. In Afghanistan Morganite is almost always classified by crystal structure and not so much by color. This is why you will occasionally see some light Aqua colored stones in Afghan Morganite lots.

2. There is only a limited amount of Afghan Morganite produced every year and annual production has been steadily decreasing.
