Nice lot of mixed color of Afghan Kunzite Facet Rough. This is a mix of colors ranging from a Pastel Pink and Pale Pink or Lavender to a Deep Lavender and Pastel Yellow. This lot is my partners and therefore the price on it is reasonable. Afghan Kunzite is an untouchable stone in the current market because of elevated demand for it in Thailand. Most of the Afghan Kunzite in the US market is old stock material and can occasionally be seen selling for below what market value is in Pakistan. This lot is running roughly 65% Facet Grade.

Please note that these are not small pieces. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT KUNZITE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! If you have not dealt with Kunzite before I would not recommend picking this up. We are confident there are some lovely LARGE eye-clean gems just waiting to come out of this! 1. Afghan Kunzite is in EXTREMELY high demand and the price of this material is jumping exponentially. What I paid for 27 Kilos a few years ago is less than what ONE kilo of similar material costs today. The greatest demand for this material lies in low grade cabbing or tumbling rough and it is running at about $50-$100.00 per kilo in PAKISTAN.
