This is an Aquamarine crystal from Kunar, Afghanistan with tabular crystallization and excellent luster. This is locally referred to in Pakistan & Afghanistan as Morganite because of the crystallization; however, the color would classify it as Aquamarine in the West. The crystal itself has minor abrasion around the edges with an occasional nick or two. Overall this is an excellent crystal seated on a Cleavelandite matrix.

This specimen has not been cleaned and cleaning should enhance it further. Please note that this Aquamarine crystal has very transparent sections.
