This is an Aquamarine crystal from Kunar, Afghanistan with tabular crystallization. This is locally referred to in Pakistan as Morganite because of the crystallization; however, the color would classify it as Aquamarine in the West. There are some lovely Mica inclusions that run throughout much of the Aquamarine. The crystal itself is well preserved with only minor abrasion around the edges. Overall the luster on this is excellent and it even has what appears to be some Cleavelandite protruding from the base. 

This specimen has not been cleaned and cleaning should enhance it further. Please note that this Aquamarine crystal has very transparent sections.
