DESCRIPTION:

Ultra Rare lot of mostly Yellowish Root Beer colored Zoisite from Skardu, Pakistan. This is extremely difficult material to get a hold of. The lot overall is running roughly 50% Facet Grade; however, most of these guys are thin and Faceting will undoubtedly result in very high weight loss. This lot is ideally suited for the crystal collector as most of these are well formed crystals terminated at least at one end and with excellent luster. If you do a quick search of what these crystals command on the net you will see this is a bargain NOT to be missed! We have NEVER seen this material in the local market as of thus far and it was really a stroke of luck that we came across this.

Please note that we haven't tested this material and can't say for 100% certainty that it is Zoisite but we are 99.9% sure it is. Some of the smaller stones are clearly Zoisite but the larger stones show a different crystallization than we usually see for Zoisite. Everyone in the local market has identified this as Zoisite and we have purchased similar material in the past of a different color. There really isn't too much of this material coming out and it is a very hot collectors item. Overall this lot is a steal at the price and we are confident it will please the most discriminating crystal collector for price. We don't know if we will get a hold of more of this in the future so don't miss out!! Please note that this is being sold AS crystal rough and should be purchased as such!

COOL FACTS:
  1. This is a relatively new find of Zoisite coming from Pakistan. Facet Grade Zoisite is only known to come for one or two other countries on any significant scale. We haven't seen Pakistani Zoisite in the marketplace with rare exception and never let it slip by us when we can purchase it. We unfortunately don't have any exposure to the effects of heat treatment on the stone so can't advise one way or the other.
