DESCRIPTION:

Awesome Lot of Minty Sea-Foam Green to Pastel Pink Afghan Tourmaline Cabbing Rough. This material has some of the most breathtaking pastel colors available and the material is very similar in color and appearance to the Pastel Tourmalines that are sporadically produced in Maine.

This is being sold as cabbing grade and has been priced according; however, there are some sections in some of the rough that will support faceting. The material in general is slightly to heavily included and should cut some nice finished gems. These are NOT small stones with the average stone weight running 19 CARATS!

We have severely discounted this material to move quick and don't really anticipate on getting more beyond a trickle here and there that accompanies Faceting Rough parcels. This material is ideal for Cabbing and Metaphysical usage. Don't miss the opportunity to purchase this spectacular lot at our blowout price!!

COOL FACTS:
  1. Afghan Tourmaline pockets tend to be relatively small in size and as a result consistency in color & quality is a rarity! We have never seen Afghan Tourmaline sold by the kilo with like colored and quality material and lots are generally small in size seldom going over 1/2-1 kilo.

  2. All Afghan Tourmaline is exhumed from primary deposits and as a result mining costs are considerably higher due to dynamite expenditures and traveling expenditures to get to remote mining areas. It is also interesting to note that since all Afghan Tourmaline is from primary deposits most rough will usually have sharp crystal faces.
