DESCRIPTION:

Awesome Electric Fuchsia Pink to Turquoise Blue Nigerian Tourmaline Faceting & Cabbing Rough. This is an awesome lot with roughly 50%+ of the lot being medium to high Facet Grade. Most of this material is very slightly to slightly included; however, the material is very gemmy and we are confident you will get some killer stones from here. This is material we selected out as not being Top Facet Grade for the most part and many stones in here were pulled out because of inclusions on the periphery or for inclusions just being present. Many of these inclusions will cut out or mask up well with a little hard work and this is an ideal lot for anyone wanting to get the most for their dollar. This is material that is first rate cab grade with the bulk going over the threshold to be classified as Facet Grade. Most stones will facet very slightly included to slightly included; however, there are quite a few stones in here that will facet eye-clean with proper orientation and complementary cutting!

This is a lot we would personally recommend for the super discounted price. Most of the stones are nicely shaped for high weight returns with a few exceptions. Get this before it is gone!!!

COOL FACTS:
  1. Nigeria has steadily risen to be a powerhouse country for Tourmaline production and is now set to eclipse many traditional sources in sheer volume of material. Overall Nigerian material, like most African material, has the brownish overtones, darker colors and lacks the vibrancy and life that Afghan (and some Namibian and Nigerian) Tourmaline is known for; however, many Nigerian and African stones can cut beautiful finished gems that rival Afghan material. From my experience I don't think quality is even questionable as I still haven't seen any Tourmaline Floor me like the Best Afghani material in its natural crystal form! Afghan Tourmaline can cost an arm and a leg and Nigerian material is a great affordable substitute for everyone to have fun faceting some Tourmaline.
