DESCRIPTION: |
Lovely Silver to Pale Blue Topaz Faceting and Cabbing Rough Lot from Namibia. This lot is composed of crystals and crystal sections with many showing partial terminations at the least. The lot is running roughly 55%+ High to Top Facet Grade and the remaining 40% is probably more towards Cabbing Rough but has some potential to yield additional Facet Rough. This is NOT small material with the average size coming in at about 110 CARATS! At this size many of the stones, if not most, do have some inclusions and you will need to do a little sawing and/or cobbing to get all the Facet Rough out of this parcel. A decade ago this material was readily available; however, over the last few years the price has dramatically increased and production is way down. We don't have a regular supply of this so we would suggest grabbing the lot as quick as you can! |
