Lovely Silver Topaz Faceting Rough Lot from Tanzania. This material is being sold by the kilo and most of these stones are chunky alluvial stones capable of giving high weight returns. Overall the material is extremely clean running roughly 80%+ Top Facet Grade while the remainder is mostly cabbing grade. Okay folks, it is important to note that all of these stones are probably not going to be Topaz as we know there is some Quartz mixed in here. We unfortunately don't know exact percentages as that is very difficult; however, we did some testing on this and the bulk of the material for our tests seems to indicate it was Quartz. This is how the material was sold to us and hence the reason we have discounted this parcel as we have. It was far too difficult to run through the material quickly and discern which was which. A few years ago this material was readily available; however, over the last few years the price has dramatically increased and production is down. We don't have a regular supply of this material so we would suggest grabbing the lot as quick as you can!
