This was purchased on our last trip to Pakistan. Yes folks, Pakistan. The seller of this didn't state what it was; however, from previous experience we do believe most of this is Zoisite. The unusual color and shape as well as an odd crystal or two of what looked like Garnet with the parcel forced us to conclude that the origin of the material had to be Tanzania.

We had asked the seller whether the material was imported into Pakistan; however, he didn't seem to know as he was someone the parcel was sold to locally there. The material is clearly not facet grade and is just a miscellaneous parcel we are blowing out. We will not stock this material or probably ever see any more so if you like what you see grab this before you miss the opportunity. I don't think you can get any quality Tanzanite at this price anywhere in the US.
