This is a new find of Pastel Golden Yellow Scapolite Faceting Rough from Mozambique! This material was purchased in Tanzania; however, the seller of this material assured us that it was from Mozambique from a fairly new find and that he brought it over to Tanzania himself. There are inclusions in some of these stones; however, the lot is roughly 80%+ High grade facet rough with 2 of the stones being extremely clean. These are not small stones and the average weight is about 25 carats! Most of the stones in here are crystal sections with many stones showing partial terminations. Don't miss this bargain!

1. Yellow Scapolite turns a nice Purple and Lavender once Irradiated in a cobalt 60 unit at 400-500 Megarads. Post and prior heating lightens color saturation.
