Awesome Violet Scapolite Top SELECT Faceting Rough coming from Badakshan, Afghanistan. This runs from a Lilac to a lovely Violet in color and all the stones are either crystals or crystal sections shaped for super high yield! This material is highly sought after by collectors, particularly crystal collectors, and it is rare to find in sizes over 3 carats in Facet Rough. This is SELECT rough and probably the best Scapolite we have been able to offer from Afghanistan as of thus far. There is 1 almost perfect doubly terminated Crystal in here that we are confident would retail for $50-$100 and that alone is probably worth picking the lot up for considering the cost of the remaining material. Every stone in here should cut Flawless with a little hard work! We got this lot at a steal and are passing the savings on to you!
