Nice lot of Cornflower Blue to Greenish Yellow Sapphire Faceting & Cabbing Rough from Kenya! This lot is a mix of Faceting and Cabbing Rough with the lot being roughly evenly divided between the two. Most of the smaller material is clean while the larger pieces tend to be gemmy but need to be cobbed & sawed up to take out all the Faceting Rough potential from the parcel. The color on this material is similar to what we typically sell from Nigeria and there really is no way to distinguish between the two from our general analysis on physical features. This parcel was really purchased as a test and we are moving it out at almost cost. We don't have a regular supply of this material and it is extremely discounted as there is nowhere you can purchase Sapphire at the price we have on this.

We didn't clean the lot up with a fine toothed comb and therefore there are some stones in here with inclusions, feathers and/or silk that you will need to either cob or saw out. The price we have on this is reflective of the amount of time that was invested in cleaning the lot up and we don't think there is anywhere you can get this caliber material at a better price! This is one of the best values we currently have up and we are confident that our prices will not be matched on this material! As a whole the material is generally a Royal to Dark Kashmir Blue with many stones having the Greenish overtone down one axis and some stones having color banding common for Corundum. There are also some neat Bicolors in here with Yellow and Blue combinations.
