Great STARTER lot of Dark Inky Blue to Dark Yellow Nigerian Sapphire Rough. This material is unfortunately on the dark side; however, the material does look EXTREMELY clean. We have been told that this material does treat but I can't guarantee it as I don't have the experience. The material is very transparent with the bulk looking like high grade facet rough. We're confident that you could cob this material up to make it lighter in color but if one could treat this it would be a great deal! This is good practice rough from our opinion for one who wants to practice either faceting Sapphire or Treating it! This lot was sent to us as a sample and it is therefore severely discounted as we just want to get it out. Take Care and don't miss out!

1. Nigeria is currently producing sapphire at three different sites. This material is from Antan and we are hopeful of getting additional material from different locations as the demand for the rough becomes evident. We are currently working with mine holders in Tanzania to acquire some nice East African Sapphire Rough in the the future!
