Super Pinkish to Blood Red Ruby Faceting Rough from Songea, Tanzania. This stone has a very slight Orangey overtone; however, that looks more attributable to the rust like foreign matter on the stone. The stone is a very gemmy crystal section with a terminated tip; however, it does have several fractures that will force you to divide it up into 3 relatively clean sections. We would suggest dividing this up accordingly and NOT going for a single large stone due to where the feathers are situated. We don't have any more of this and don't plan on acquiring any more in the near future. Please note that this stone is 100% NATURAL and has not been treated in any way. This is not an oversaturated color and is really electric and we are confident it will produce some stunning finished Gemstones! Only one of these to go around so grab it while you can.
