ULTRA RARE Pale to Pastel Yellow Richterite Faceting Rough from Badakshan, Afghanistan. This is all SELECT material and it truly is an act of G-D that we are able to offer it at all! The lot is for the most part composed of very chunky crystals and crystal sections with excellent exterior luster considering the species. There is NO ONE else we know selling this material in the rough in this caliber. Just take a look around on the premium cut stones command for this material! We have seen crystals that are only slightly bigger and included selling for several hundred to several thousand dollars a piece! From a run through the material it is clearly evident that it is going to be EXTREMELY difficult to cut because of multiple cleavage planes. Many stones look practically clean; however, two stones will need to be divided into two finished gems because of either an exposed cleavage or a feather. We are confident that every one of the stones in this lot can cut eye-clean or better with a little hard work.
