Awesome lot of Silver "Herkimer" Quartz coming from Balochistan, Pakistan. This is referred to as "Diamond Quartz" in the local markets in Pakistan. The material is extremely similar to Herkimer Quartz from New York with razor sharp termination and excellent luster! The bulk of these are doubly terminated single crystals. A few of these stones may have liquid inclusions; however, this material was selected from several hundred kilos specifically for clarity and termination and NOT the inclusions!

This material is averaging in the 2.75+ carat range and is largely composed of the LARGE SIZED material that was selected and is the best of what we have available. There is a very limited amount of this in the markets in Pakistan as the deposits are almost dry and the price has been jumping regularly.

This material really shouldn't be faceted as it is a hot collectors item; however, that is something you will have to decide. Personally, I think these would be ideal for a creative Jewelry project such as wire wrapping or stringing! For the labor that went into taking these out I'm pretty sure it was a lose lose situation for us and this is probably not something we plan on repeating if we have to undergo the work again so don't miss out on this great addition to the collection!
