AWESOME HUGE vibrant Apple Green Peridot from Supatt, Pakistan. The stone is running roughly 40% High to Top Facet Grade with most inclusions concentrated towards the periphery leaving the remaining core very clean. This will produce a large eye-clean to very slightly included gem with a little planning and hard work; however, this depends on what your yield preferences are and the orientation of the rough. If you are aiming for the cleanest stone possible it will be much smaller than the largest cleanest stone possible.

Please note that this stone does have some inclusions and the white veiling common to Pakistani Peridot; however, I'm confident with a little hard work and some grinding you should be able to produce a spectacular gemstone from this lot of premium size. There really is no other Peridot that compares with the Pakistani material as far as color and quality go on a consistent basis and as stones get larger there is no competition!

The Pakistani Peridot mines are located at an altitude of roughly 15,000-16,000 feet and are roughly a 6 hour trek over several mountains on mule & foot (This is for a 1/2 way experienced climber and it will take considerably longer for a novice)!
