DESCRIPTION:

Awesome lot of bright vibrant Apple Green Peridot from Supatt, Pakistan. This is a sweet lot of Top Facet Grade Rough having all the bad stones taken out! Most stones in this lot should cut eye-clean or better with little effort as it is almost all SELECT rough. Please note that a few of these stones may have some small inclusions and the white veiling common to Pakistani Peridot; however, I'm confident with a little hard work and some grinding you should be able to produce some spectacular gemstones from this lot.

We estimate that roughly 85%+ of this lot is TOP Grade Facet Rough. Most of the pieces in this lot are uniform in color consisting of the Apple Green that Pakistan is known for without the Olive overtones. There are some lovely stones in here and the lot is well worth the price!

Please note that the mines in Supatt, Pakistan are almost depleted. We don't anticipate seeing a steady supply of the high caliber material much longer and prices on location are jumping exponentially year after year. Clean material is becoming very difficult to acquire on location and as the material currently in the international markets is sold it will be next to impossible to replace! Don't miss your chance on acquiring some of this material before it is all gone!

COOL FACTS:
  1. Pakistani Peridot has climbed the charts to become known as the best and is for  Peridot what Kashmir is for Sapphire! There really is no other Peridot that compares with the Pakistani material as far as color and quality go on a consistent basis and as stones get larger there is no competition!

  2. The Pakistani Peridot mines are located at an altitude of roughly 15,000-16,000 feet and are roughly a 6 hour trek over several mountains on mule & foot (This is for a 1/2 way experienced climber and it will take considerably longer for a novice)! The Supatt area is known to have some of the world's most breathtaking sites and you can see some of these in our picture galleries.
