Awesome lot of NATURAL Pale Peachy Pink to Pastel Pink Morganite Faceting & Cabbing Rough from Afghanistan. I would say most of this material is a cross that lies somewhere between Pale and Medium Peachy Pink. There are a few pieces in here that look more like they are Goshenite (These are probably Quartz); however, the lot as a whole is distinctly Pink. This lot is a little light in color but that is more than made up for with the clarity and size of the rough. We estimate that 40%+ of this material is High to Top Facet Grade; however, most stones do have inclusions and/or veiling that you will have to saw and/or cob out to produce the cleanest stones possible. Please note that these are not small pieces and the average weight here is 45+ carats!! We don't have any more Morganite from Mozambique so don't let someone beat you to this lot! Take a look around the net and you will see how unbelievable our price on this material really is! We are confident that you will get some killer stones out of this lot with little effort. The two larger stones in the parcel are probably worth the lot price alone as they are extremely gemmy and the darkest in the lot! |
