Super Pale to Pastel Pink Afghani Kunzite FULLY Terminated Gem Crystal Faceting Rough. First of all, this Crystal is much better than the above pictures indicate and it really has to be seen to be fully appreciated. This piece is fully terminated all around with the most SPECTACULAR luster! Kunzite naturally comes out of the ground in some awesome Bluish colors but fades to a dominant Pinkish or Purplish color after exposure to sunlight! This is a NATURAL effect and this material has NOT been treated in ANY way! Overall this crystal is EXTREMELY clean and I think about 70% of this is Top Facet Grade while the remainder is some type of Facet Grade. This has good value as a Gem Crystal Specimen because of the beautiful termination with razor sharp edges and would probably sell at $500-$600 as such. I personally wouldn't facet this but that is a choice the buyer will have to deal with. This is not a small piece weighing in at more than 250 CARATS! In addition, since this is a crystal it is well shaped for high yield! We have discounted this so as to make it affordable to any crystal collector that may want to pick it up! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT KUNZITE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! If you have not dealt with Kunzite before I would not recommend picking this up. |
