The color on this material unfortunately is not the most desirable; however, this lot represents the largest cleanest Kunzite we have procured to date from Nigeria. This is NOT small material averaging over 150 CARATS! At this size this is GREAT to practice those new designs and also to learn how to facet Kunzite! There really is nowhere you can get this caliber material in this size range at this price! This material would be great for anyone who treats Kunzite in particular as much of the rough looks almost alluvial and extremely clean and therefore ideally suited for treatment. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT KUNZITE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! If you have not dealt with Kunzite before I would not recommend picking this up. 1. This is from a New Find of Kunzite from Nigeria, Africa. We have been hearing rumors that extremely large stones are being mined; however, we haven't seen any of that first hand. The material we have received is similar to this and some of it actually looks like it is partially alluvial.
