This is a super lot of Mandarin Orange to Tangerine Hessonite Garnet Faceting Rough coming from Afghanistan. The color of this material is just a phenomenal Mandarin Orange to a fiery Flame Pure Orange with little or no Red overtones! Please note that this rough may be a mixture of Spessartite and/or Hessonite (Possibly other Garnets as well) which are generally included species of Garnet. It is extremely difficult to acquire eye-clean to flawless rough in either species. This lot represents some of the BETTER material we have seen to date! The lot looks to be running roughly 65%+ High to Top Facet Grade with the remainder being a mixture of Cabbing Rough and some additional Faceting Rough that needs to be sawed and/or cobbed out. We are confident you will get quite a few killer stones from this parcel and for the price we have on this just 1 or 2 cut stones will pay for the lot.
