NEW FIND of an unidentified Red Garnet in complete crystals coming from Kunar, Afghanistan. It is rare to find Garnet in its crystal shape in nature and this is a very unusual find of Garnet where almost every stone is a perfect crystal with good to excellent crystal faces. The color ranges from a Pinkish Red to a Deep Cranberry Red. There is some nice facetable material in here; however, most of it is very slightly included at best and relatively small in size. This is being sold as CRYSTAL Rough and should be purchased as such. This is a great price for this material and we strongly recommend it for the beginning Crystal and/or Mineral Specimen Collector!

1. There has been a very limited amount of Red Garnet that has been produced in Afghanistan and it is rarely facet grade. This is the FIRST lot of this material that I have seen enter the market.
