Awesome vibrant Lot of Bubble-Gum Pink to Pinkish Purplish Red Zambian Garnet Faceting Rough. This material was sold to us as Zambian Rhodolite by a Zambian; however, the material looks VERY similar to what we have typically seen produced in Tanzania and sold as Rhodolite. We are therefore not guaranteeing the origin of this material nor the particulars species of Garnet it is. The material was sold to us as Rhodolite Garnet; however, we have not tested it and therefore can not ascertain whether it is or is not Rhodolite (We are confident that the bulk of this material is Rhodolite; however, there look to be a handful of stones that fall outside of the color typically associated with Rhodolite).

The material is some of the brightest and Pinkest Garnet we have ever seen with a slight Purplish overtone. Many of these stones do have some inclusions and that is the reason we have discounted the parcel. Many stones should cut eye-clean or better; however, many stones will probably cut very slightly included at best if cut for yield. This really is an exceptional deal as if this material were all clean it would easily run $5-7 per gram minimum and that would be through us. The lot is priced to sell so don't miss out.

1. Bright Pink and Pinkish Red Garnet is a rarity as the market is overflowing with overly dark Red and Brownish Red material that has become the norm for facet grade Garnet. This material is extremely vibrant and clean! We are confident that this material will leave you in awe at the very least!
