The color of this material is just phenomenal and runs from a lovely almost Mandarin Orange to a fiery Tangerine with Red Flashes! This lot represents some of the better material we have seen to date!!!

Please be aware that Hessonite is generally an included species of Garnet and it is extremely difficult to acquire eye-clean to flawless rough. Most of this material WILL cut eye-clean to very slightly included stones at BEST and we anticipate most stones will probably be very slightly to slightly included. These inclusions should NOT significantly impact the cleaner finished stones. This lot is running roughly 50%+ Medium to High Facet Grade and there are some nice stones in here. The clarity on this material is generally very similar to your TYPICAL Nigerian and Namibian Mandarin Garnet! Please note that much of the rough is not ideally shaped with quite a few stones being on the thin side. This is unfortunately characteristic of the mine where these are unearthed. Taken everything into consideration we have priced this at a blowout price of $.75 PER GRAM! Don't miss your chance on picking up this lot at this price!
