Nice Lot of Orangey Red to Rose Red alluvial Garnet from Tanzania. Almost every stone in here is a well shaped, chunky, water-worn pebble capable of giving above average yield. Most stones are nice and vibrant and will undoubtedly produce spectacular finished gems. Overall the lot looks to be running roughly 60% or so High Facet Grade with the remainder possessing inclusions and rutile that is commonly found in some Tanzanian Garnets. We believe the lot is really a mixture of Rhodolite, Hessonite and Malaya but since we can't test everything in here it is being sold as Garnet. We have priced this to sell as we are just liquidating miscellaneous items to make room for new shipments planned for the next few months.
