Magnificent Lot of bright Pinkish Red to Orangey Red Malaya Garnet from Tanzania. Almost every stone in here is a well shaped, chunky, water-worn pebble capable of giving above average yield. Most stones are nice and vibrant and will undoubtedly produce spectacular finished gems.

Unlike most of the newer Malaya Garnet being produced this material is not excessively dark or brown. I have been informed these are a hybrid composed of Spessartite and other Garnet species. There may be a couple of Rhodolite and Almandine Garnets in this parcel but that is pure speculation. It is too cost prohibitive to test and evaluate each stone. This material is running roughly 90+ parcel clean and this is the last lot of this we have. Don't miss this last Lot as we can no longer source this material!!!
