The color of this material is just phenomenal and runs from a lovely almost Mandarin Orange to a fiery Tangerine with Red Flashes! This lot represents the BEST material we have seen to date!!!

Please be aware that this rough is probably a mixture of Spessartite and/or Hessonite (Possibly other Garnets as well) which are generally included species of Garnet. It is extremely difficult to acquire eye-clean to flawless rough in either species and this lot is probably as good as it gets. Most of this material WILL cut eye-clean or better with a little hard work. Some stones do have some minor inclusions; however, they are not in the majority. It is important to note that many of the stones in this parcel are on the thin side and yield will generally be below average. This lot is composed of very glassy pieces like we have never seen come from Afghanistan before! Don't miss your chance on picking up this lot as this quality is a RARITY!
