Vibrant Rose Red to Ruby Red Tanzanian Garnet Facet Rough Lot. This material looks to be a mix of several types of Garnets from a general run through the material and this is typical for most of the Garnet that we purchase from Tanzania. This material is getting more difficult to get a hold of as most material available is excessively dark. There looks to be several Rhodolites in here along with the occasional Malaya; however, the lot overall looks like Almandine Garnet BUT, since we haven't tested any of this material we can't say which species of Garnet it is. This is roughly 85% Top quality material with most stones capable of producing eye-clean or better finished gems; however, there are a few stones that may produce very slightly to slightly included stones. The lot is priced to sell so don't miss out.

1. Bright Red Garnet is a rarity as the market is overflowing with overly dark material that has become the norm for facet grade garnet. This material is extremely vibrant and clean!
