SMOKING Lot of High Grade Mandarin Garnet Faceting Rough from Nigeria with the most spectacular pure Orange color. These are nice chunky water worn nodules and crystals or crystal sections with a bright Mandarin Orange color. This is some of the the cleanest material we have been able to get a hold of as of thus far at a reasonable price and the size overall is decent with an average weight of about 3.5 Carats.

Most of these stones should cut in the Eye-clean to slightly included range with a little hard work. This is some great material that we are offering at a discounted price. 1. Nigerian and Namibian Mandarin Garnet deposits are fast being depleted with most of the earlier larger material gone already. Initial finds were alluvial in nature and as those sources are depleted more work will be required to unearth these treasures at the primary deposits. This in the end will boil down to higher prices and sporadic production.
