DESCRIPTION:

AWESOME Museum Quality Deep Peachy Pink to almost Salmon Pink Fluorite Crystal from Nagar, Pakistan. This is one of the best pieces we have seen available for Pink Fluorite from Pakistan at an affordable price in a very long time. It is almost completely terminated or etched all around with the exception of the base. The third and sixth pictures above reflect the top of the Crystal and how it would be displayed. The termination on this is sharp pretty much all around and it has no damage! If this were on matrix it would easily cost $10K+! The crystal has the most beautiful Minty Green phantoming on the periphery and that seems to drown out the Pink a Bit from the pictures while enhancing the Peachy and/or Salmon overtone.

The bulk of the crystal is clearly Top Facet Grade but I don't know if you would want to facet this. We didn't purchase this for the Specimen appeal but from the Faceting perspective; however, it was sold to us AS a Specimen! The crystal is EXTREMELY Clean and truly is a Gem Crystal. The top 50-55% of the crystal is practically clean with the exception of some inclusions on the periphery and one silk veil. It is ideally suited for a single large stone while the bottom 45% or so will need to be divided into 2 stones of roughly equal size that should both also cut Eye-Clean or better with a little hard work. It is extremely rare to get a Fluorite this clean from Pakistan in this size and quality and we are confident it will be the eye-catcher in many a collection! This is a must have for the Fluorite collector and an oddity to find in the rough.

This is not a little piece running almost 250 GRAMS! It is very unusual to get Facet Grade Pink Fluorite from Pakistan as the Specimens from the area are VERY pricey and highly sought after by collectors. We haven't purchased any of this material in the past and have rarely seen it in Facet Rough form so don't miss the opportunity to pick this up!

COOL FACTS:
  1. Pakistani Pink Fluorite specimens are HIGHLY sought after and command some wild numbers. It is very rare to see Facet Grade material from Pakistan as there isn't much material produced at the mines and this will always be a collector stone because of production.
